We’re currently searching an Automation Engineer with VRU & Combustion Unit Experience. Be a part of our client’s extraordinary & fast-growing team that takes pride in its ‘safety first’ culture. Our client, a global industry leader in manufacturing BMS, Compressors and Environmental equipment is looking for motivated and qualified Automation Engineer who will be responsible for on-site start up and troubleshooting in the field.
Locations: Pennsylvania/New York/Ohio.
Position Criteria:
- Must have good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various types of mechanical equipment, specifically Burner Management Systems and Combustion Units
- Prior upstream sector experience
- Downstream experience is a STRONG Plus
- Ability to prioritize workload and organize tasks
- Must be a self-starter and highly dependable.
- Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) a plus.
- Must be extremely aware of safety procedures and protocol
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oilfield Experience
- UpStream & Downstream Sector Experience in Programming & Automation
- Experience with VRU & Combustion Equipment
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- TWIC Card
- Successfully pass drug test and background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supports a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible.
- Performs work associated with oil and gas production equipment.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet customer requirements.
- Assist Field Service Crews with equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Maintain paperwork and field tickets for billing purposes.
- Startup, Troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of Oil and Gas Production Equipment.
- Works closely with Customers to ensure job satisfaction.
- Fills out all safety documentation to ensure job is completed in a safe manner.

- Vision to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens.
