Job Description:
The position of Fiber Splicing Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of fiber cables including needed repairs. Position requires ability to be individually responsible, work aloft, maintain a valid driver's license, computer literate and perform detailed functions in the splicing and testing of fiber cables. This position requires a great deal of accuracy and perfection.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Prep splice/test aerial/buried fiber cables in enclosures and terminals.
Splice fiber per specifications and OTDR test to minimum light loss and reflectance.
Complete Extensive Documentation as required for job and submit daily.
