Fitz’s Fish Ponds is a company that designs, builds, and services ponds, waterfalls and all other water features. Our crew is experienced, educated and most importantly creative. We believe no two ponds or water features should be the same, and no idea is too far fetched.

Since 2008, Fitz’s Fish Ponds has been providing exceptional pond services in New Jersey and the Tri-State area. We have the necessary expertise, crew, equipment, passion and creativity to help maintain both large and small ponds in the best way possible.

Our Service Department is currently hiring for the following positions:

• Service Technician
• Lead Service Technician (includes training and developing others)
• Maintenance Technician
• Lead Maintenance Technician (includes training and developing others)Job Description Overview: Within these positions, you would be responsible for completing repairs such as filter or pump installations, and performing routine services including but not limited to pond cleanings and nettings. This position can have a high level of customer interaction and requires the ability to maintain professionalism and communicate effectively.

  Job Requirements:

• Ability to work somewhat independently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of ponds a plus, but not required
• Experience in the construction or landscaping industries is a plus, but not required.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, outgoing and pleasant with a focus on safety andprocedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsEmployees in this role must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable/satisfactory

  motor vehicle record

• High School diploma or equivalentBecause this position provides a variety of tasks, the physical requirements for this position include bending, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 50 lbs. In the field, expect adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, etc. for portions of the position that may be completed in these circumstances.

  Availability:

While this is a year-round position, during the months of April – September, you must be available to work between the hours of 7am and 6:30pm Monday-Friday and rotating Saturday’s.
