As one of only nine certified Rolls Royce AMCs in the world, we support the Rolls Royce Allison T56/501D, as well as Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A/PT6T engines and its' accessories.
Basic Functions:
Set up, adjust and operate Machine Shop equipment as Milling Machines, Engine Lathes, Tool-Post, Surface, Universal and O.D Grinders and the various tools and measuring instruments required to perform precision Machining/Grinding operations. Read and interpret blue prints and engineering instructions. Performs and verify visual and dimensional inspection using manufacturer, company or customer supplied drawings and Manuals.
Essential duties are as follows but are not limited to:
· Set up and operate various Machining & Grinding equipment.
· Read and interpret manufacture, engineering blue prints and Manuals.
· Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
· Ensure all work is performed IAW posted work scopes and safety implementations.
Requirements:
· Due to regulatory requirements of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
· Minimum of 3 years working as a Machinist or currently enrolled in a Machinist trade school/program
· Proper use and knowledge of Machine Shop tools and measuring equipment.
· Basic computer skills.
· Personal Toolbox with basic Machinist tools.
· Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
· Available to work daily overtime and Saturdays.
A Plus:
· Machinist trade school certification.
· MRO experience working at a Part 145 repair station.
· Experience with Rolls Royce T56/501 engines and or similar engines.
· CNC Programing, Set-Up & Operation.
· A and/or P certification.
Basic Schedule:
7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday, additional daily overtime and Saturday if required.
