Job for Veteran in Roseland, New Jersey:
Managing Transaction and Advisory Law Attorney
-
Lowenstein Sandler is seeking a seasoned corporate attorney with 5+ years of corporate transactional experience to join our dynamic and growing Transactions and Advisory Group, focusing on its M&A and Private Equity practices. This position will primarily involve running deals as well as the representation of strategic acquirors, private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in negotiating, structuring, and documenting a variety of transactions, including control acquisitions, minority investments and dispositions of previously acquired companies or investments. While not required, experience representing both private equity and public company clients is a plus and public M&A experience is desirable.
This position is suited for experienced attorneys seeking an alternative to the typical “2000+ hours” model. The hours expectation for this full-time role is 1,600, which includes billable time, approved pro bono and DE&I hours, as well as other eligible firm hours. If additional hours are accrued, this position offers the opportunity for incremental bonuses designed to bring an attorney to the standard base compensation of other attorneys at a comparable seniority level within the practice group. Regardless of whether they exceed 1,600 hours, attorneys in this role are also eligible for a discretionary bonus based on the quality and quantity of their work, client service level, and contributions to the practice group and the overall firm.
This position can be located in any of our Lowenstein offices (New York City; Roseland, NJ; Washington, DC; Palo Alto, CA; Centerville, UT). A remote work arrangement may be considered in certain other locations on a case-by-case basis.
Lowenstein Sandler is committed to equal employment opportunity and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with physical and/or mental disabilities.
