Program Manager

Fusion Sport has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to be at the forefront of our Military Software Rollouts. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong program and project management skill set, with excellent attention to detail.
As the Program Manager, you will utilize your advanced program and project management skills to successfully manage complex software rollouts to Fusion Sport’s large military clients in the United States and Canada. Rollouts require the coordination of multiple subprojects including system configuration, security protocols, software configuration, rollout, and coordinating end-user training and staffing resources.
The project teams will be composed of a mix of Fusion Sport, Client, and 3rd party resources, with the Program Manager being the facilitator to ensure all relevant stakeholders are engaged, and the overall Program Plan is met.
This is a full-time opportunity based in our modern Broomfield Office.

Role Responsibilities
Program Management
- Create, implement and be the champion of the overall Program plan and the associated Project plans
- Accountable for the development of customer specific project planning artifacts
- Move initiatives forward, find resources, raise concerns to appropriate owners early and resolve open issues that prevent progress; hold the line when the schedule or progress is in jeopardy while maintaining respectful relationships
- Develop and iterate on the Program Management Framework ensuring Fusion Sport is at the forefront of best practice in program management.
Project Management & Planning
- Responsible for the planning and communications required to ensure that the customer projects identified are well scoped, prepared and developed. The planning will be initiated pre-contract in collaboration with the commercial organization, and you will own the plan from the contract onwards.
- Ensure planning and documentation is visible and understood by all members of the relevant project and associated teams (e.g. customer stakeholders, developers, Smartabase consulting team)
- Organize and lead meetings related to project planning/development to ensure project timelines, milestones, and objectives are met
Project Risk Management
- Responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks to the success of the project by immediately developing contingency plans and/or taking remediation action as required
Reporting Management
- Ensures quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure whilst managing the change control procedure to ensure that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale, and resource budgets, and are signed off in accordance with the specified project governance.
- Facilitates the creation of Change Management planning and execution, taking into consideration IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement activities), and any organizational activities required to integrate new product and/or technology processes or roles into the ‘business as usual’ environment.
Role Requirements
Essential
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large scale software rollouts
- Proven track record working on successful, complex, and large-scale programs
- Proven experience with SaaS based software implementations
- Sufficient technical aptitude to communicate with and manage deliverables from a wide range of subject-matter experts including cloud hosting, software development, software configuration, cybersecurity and military security protocols
- Managing & collaborating programs in complex stakeholder environments
- Executive presence and ability to communicate with senior military leadership
- Comprehensive understanding of project management disciplines including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve goals and meet specific success criteria.
- Previous experience working with project management tools such as JIRA, Smart sheets, Trello, Basecamp, Microsoft Project or Asana.
- Relevant Project and Program management certification

- Experience deploying projects with the U.S. and Canadian Armed Forces
- Government security clearance
- Previous experience working with any Athlete Data Management System
- Previous experience working with a no-code workflow platform
- Interest in Human Performance Optimization and Sport Science
