Duties:

This position is responsible for all DDOK servers--installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, backing up databases, performance tuning, and restoration of data when applicable. This position is also responsible for setting up, supporting, and maintaining all claim system software. Responsibilities encompass DDOK system monitoring, to include, alerts from firewalls, VPN's, RD gateways, windows event logs, hardware, endpoint protection, and IDP/IPS devices. Also, this position has some basic network administration responsibilities serving as the backup to the Supervisor of Network Operations or Network Administrator II: understanding and running the backup and restore process for the network, maintaining internal and external DNS, maintaining SSL certificates, and setting up and maintaining FTP software. This position maintains the phone system and all of its components. This position also rotates on call for IT support and scheduled monthly maintenance. Lastly, this position is familiar with scheduled preventative maintenance of uninterruptible power supplies and a generator.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer, MIS or Math related area or 6-10 years prior experience in a Networking or System Support position in lieu of a degree
• 3 - 5 years prior experience in a Networking or System Support position or an internship in networking or system support plus 1-2 years prior experience in networking or system support

Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:

• MCSE or equivalent
• Security certifications (i.e. CISSP, Security+, etc.)
• Storage infrastructure
• Firewall configurations
• Computer hardware
• Microsoft Windows Server experience
• TCP/IP networking
