Glass & Metals, Inc. is seeking a full time Glazier to install storefront, curtainwall, panels and all types of glass as required.  Must have the ability to cut, fit and install properly into building conditions using standard mechanical and non-power tools.  Will perform site clean-up necessary to keep neat and safe working conditions.

To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

Essential Functions including, but not limited to:

• Basic understanding of glazing systems, storefront, and curtainwall.
• Basic knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in construction.
• The ability to effectively work as a team.
• High degree of accuracy and exactness is extremely important in the performance of this job.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift between 25 to 75 pounds or more.

What we are seeking from our employees:

• Minimum of 6 months experience in the glass and glazing industry.
• Basic knowledge of math and how to read a tape measure.
• Perform general physical activities and lifting, balancing, climbing and handling of large sheets of glass and aluminum frames.
• Must be comfortable working from heights on lifts, scaffolding and rooftops.
• Regular exposure to all weather conditions.
• Required to wear common protective and safety equipment.
