Locations: Employee will float between 6 branches located in 2 regions :
Langhorne Region (Langhorne Borough, Levittown, Fairless Hills)
Newtown Region (Newtown Borough, Newtown Township, Richboro)
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30a.m. - 5:15p.m.
Saturday 8:30a.m. - 12:30p.m. (may be required)
Expected Starting Salary: $34,000.00 per year, plus premium pay for any Saturdays worked
Summary:*
Assists new and existing customers with prompt, efficient, accurate service by conducting banking transactions and performs maintenance on bank products and services. Responsible for providing operational support and exceptional customer service while maintaining essential controls and safeguards.
Essential Functions:
- Greets and offers assistance to customers, potential customers, and employees upon entering premises. Answers questions and assists in problem solving after researching the individuals needs. Maintains an organized and confidential workstation.
- Maintains neat and orderly hand-out information that is appropriate and readily available for customers. Performs follow-up customer service to ensure customers are fully satisfied and completely understand all products.
- Promptly answers incoming calls to the branch and returns phone messages with excellent customer service technique.
- Receives checks and cash for deposit. Enters customers' transactions into teller system to record transactions, and issues receipts. Keeps drawer supply at adequate cash level. Balances drawer at end of workday against data on teller system.
- Balances the vault daily and maintains cash limits set by the Board of Directors. Orders and ships currency. Verifies all money received from or shipped to money carrier service. Verifies all daily money transactions to and from the vault. Monitors vault and drawer limits. Organizes settlement procedures.
- Performs Customer Service maintenance work for consumer accounts. Opens and maintains consumer checking and savings accounts. Explains, promotes, and processes products or services such as checking accounts, savings accounts, IRA accounts, Certificates of Deposit, and cashiers checks per set procedures. Orders checks and deposit tickets for customers; handles stop payment orders, phone transfers, cash advances and redemption of Bonds. Opens and closes safe deposit boxes. Opens and closes ATM/Visa Checkcards and processes Hot Cards and disputes where necessary.
- Opens and closes premises under dual control.
- Abides by all aspects of First National Banks policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- May substitute in another office as staffing needs dictate.
- Completes other duties that may be assigned.
Please note: all branch employees have a responsibility to float to other branches in the region as requested. They may also be requested to float outside of their regions as staffing requires.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, prior work experience. Should be able to help in solving customer problems comfortably. Good interpersonal skills, a positive and professional business image, and the ability to interact with all levels of customers and employees.
